I am going to sharm for 2 weeks in March what sort of suit do you think I would be able to use . either a full 5mm wet suit or a 5mm shortie

3mm shortie will do you in Sharm bud...but then I use a semidry in UK so maybe I don't feel the cold!! Go the shortie route whichever thickness you choose, you will have a fantastic time, make sure you go to Ras Mohammed and Tiran Island and keep an eye on your gauges, you can get seriously deep seriously quickly without even noticing it :-)

We go to sharm in 3 days !
